CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo. — James Norman Walker, formerly of Advance, 91, died Jan. 30, 2019, at the Missouri Veterans Home in Cape Girardeau.
Born April 13, 1927, in Bloomfield, son of the late Henry and Jewell Walker Cagle, he had lived in the Advance area most of his life where he had farmed.
On May 19, 1957, in Morley, he married Agnes Virginia Wallace, who preceded him in death on April 23, 2006.
Survivors include: two daughters, Norma Helbling of Pocatello, Idaho, and Edith Back of Reed Springs; one son, James Walker of Advance; four brothers, Gene Cagle of Dexter, Bill Cagle of Poplar Bluff and Wayne Cagle and Junior Cagle of Bloomfield; and five grandchildren and one great grandchild.
He was preceded in death by one great-grandson.
Visitation is from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday at the Chiles-Cooper Funeral Home in Bloomfield, where services will be at noon Friday.
Burial with full military honorswill follow in the Missouri Veteran's Cemetery in Bloomfield.
