SIKESTON — Charles Hafford, 48, died April 6, 2019, at Westfield Nursing Center in Sikeston.
Born April 8, 1970, in Sikeston, son of Thomas Hafford Sr. of Memphis, Tenn., and Beverly Rose Humphrey of East Prairie, he attended the First Assembly of God in Sikeston and was a former employee of Jerry James Trailer in Sikeston.
On Dec. 20, 1994, he married Deborah Dowdy, who survives of the home.
Other survivors include: his stepfather, Thomas Humphrey of East Prairie; two sons, Josh Dowdy and Jake King of Sikeston; two daughters, LaTrisha Dowdy of Morehouse and Amber (Jacob) O'Guin of New Madrid; one brother, Thomas Eugene Hafford Jr. of Morehouse; one sister, Ashley Sullivan of Memphis; two stepsisters, Crystal Johnston of East Prairie and Angie DeHart of Commerce; and two grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, John and Marie Rose; paternal grandparents, Thomas and Katherine Hafford; and his stepmother, Glenda Hafford.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until service time at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Ponder Funeral Home in Sikeston with Jon Archie, pastor of Elm Street Baptist Church of Charleston, officiating.
Burial will follow at IOOF Cemetery in Charleston, MO.
