PORTAGEVILLE, Mo. — Three people are now in custody in connection with a home invasion.
The Portageville Police responded to a report of a home invasion at 9:52 p.m. May 3 in the 300 block of West Seventh Street. During an interview with the victim, officers were able to obtain information and identification of possible suspects.
According to Portageville Police, officers arrested a juvenile male in connection with the incident.
A second suspect, Hunter Hartman, 18, was taken into custody on Sunday at his residence in Marston.
“During an interview with Hartman, he admitted to his involvement with the incident on West Seventh,” Adams said in a news release.
Hartman is charged through the New Madrid County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office with first degree burglary, first degree robbery, two counts of armed criminal action and unlawful use of a weapon, according to online court records. Bond is set at $75,000.
The third suspect was reported in custody on Monday by the Portageville Police Department.
According to online court records, Nigil Demetrius Lemons, 17, is also charged with first degree burglary, first degree robbery and two counts of armed criminal action. On the Portageville Police Department’s Facebook page it was reported Lemons admitted his involvement in the home invasion.
Lemons is at Pemiscot County Justice Center with bond set at $75,000.
