Wiley Sevic Sr.

BERTRAND, Mo. — Wiley Joe Sevic Sr., 84, formerly of Wyatt, died May 15, 2019, at the Miner Nursing Center.

Born April 21, 1935, at Dardanelle, Ark., son of the late Frank Sevic and Mildred R. Hicks Sevic, he was a graduate of Diehlstadt High School and a U.S. Navy veteran. He had been employed with Burke Farms until his retirement.

Survivors include: three sons, Barry (Kim) Sevic of Florissant; Wiley (Chrysta DeSean) Sevic Jr. of Lees Summit and Frank (Jackie Tollison) Sevic of Bertrand; one daughter, Cynthia (Charles) Moates of Sikeston; two sisters, Judy Crowley of Wyatt and Linda McVay of Jackson; and six grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one son, Brian Scott Sevic; and one sister, Anna Sevic Badgley.

Visitation will be from 2 p.m. until service time at 3 p.m. Saturday at the McMikle Funeral Home in Charleston. Jason Davis of Sikeston will officiate. 

Services with full military honors will be at 3 p.m. Monday in the Missouri State Veterans Cemetery in Bloomfield.
