GIDEON, Mo. — Lyman Earl Huckeby, 100, died June 30, 2019, in Gideon.
Born June 3, 1919, in Livingston, Tenn., son of the late John Roy and Stella Mae Vaughn Huckeby, he was of the Catholic belief.
On Dec. 20, 1943, in Monroe, Tenn., he married Bessie Louella Richardson, who preceded him in death on Feb. 21, 2017.
Survivors include: two sons and a daughter-in-law, Lyman and Jan Huckeby Jr. of Campbell and Jack Huckeby of New Madrid; one daughter, Kiki Curtis of Sikeston; and seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
He was also preceded in death by one daughter, Rita Bell; daughter-in-law, Sue Huckeby; seven brothers, A.B. Huckeby, Roy Huckeby Jr., Ray Huckeby, Lester Huckeby, Leonard Huckeby, Preston Huckeby and Tilbert Huckeby; one sister, Arleene Almonrode; and two grandsons.
Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until service time at 11 a.m. Saturday at First Baptist Church in Gideon.
Burial will be in the Memorial Park Cemetery at Malden.
Bradshaw Funeral Home in Malden is in charge of arrangements.
