Martha Simon

PARMA, Mo. — Martha Lourine Simon, 71, died June 27, 2019, in Malden.

Born Nov. 17, 1947, in Itta Bena, Miss., she was the daughter of the late A.L. and Elizabeth Lourine Hampton Cook.

On Sept. 7, 1989, in Essex, she married George W. Simon, and he survives of Parma.

Other survivors include: two daughters, Elizabeth Lourine Malory of Steele and Emma Jean Johnson of Malden; two sons, Leroy Cook of Malden and Elbert Cook of Parma; one stepdaughter, Shanna Simon of Wisconsin; two stepsons, Jerry Simon of Rockford, Ill., and Joshua Simon of Portage, Wish.; one sister, Daisy Mae Cook; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by one daughter, Valerie D. Dockery.

Visitation will be from noon until service time at 1 p.m. Saturday at Bradshaw Funeral Home in Malden.

Burial will be in Macedonia Cemetery at Malden.
