Jerry Totty

ROCKVIEW, Mo. — Jerry Keith Totty, 78, died July 25, 2019 at his home.

Born May 11, 1941, in Rockview, to the late Eugene and Benita (Eskew) Totty. A lifelong resident of Rockview, he was a member of the United Association of Plumbers and Pipefitters for over 50 years working all over the country until his retirement in 2003 and was initiated in the Chaffee Masonic Lodge #615 in May, 1976 and served as Grand Master several times.

On Feb. 6, 1960, he married Janet Sue Sadler, who survives of the home.

Other survivors include: two sons, Brian (Debra) Totty of Rockview and Mark (Tracey) Totty, of Albany, Ill.; one daughter, Tammy (David) Shackles, of Rockview; six grandchildren, Brandy (Joshua) Slayden, Keith (Jessica) Totty, Krissy (Scott) Barnhart, Ryan (Jessica) Welch, Kristopher, Jeremy, Jesse, Teasha, Wyatt and Briar Totty and 22 great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his brother Donald, sisters Norma, Ruth Ann and Bonnie.

Friends may call from 5-8 p.m. Saturday and 11-4 p.m. Sunday at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Chaffee, Mo., where funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Monday. Burial will follow at Union Cemetery in Chaffee.  Family and friends are invited to gather at the Chaffee Elks Lodge after internment for fellowship and refreshments.
