Loretta Stephenson

BERNIE, Mo. — Loretta Stephenson, 93, died Aug. 19, 2019, at Oak Tree Villa in Jefferson City.

Born March 28, 1926, in Conran, daughter of the late William Franklin and Etta Barnett Henley, she had worked for International Shoe Factory before retiring.

On March 8, 1950, she married Alger K. Stephenson; he preceded her in death on May 5, 2005.

Survivors include: one son, William Kent Stephenson of Bernie; one daughter, Trudie Royse-Keefe of Jefferson City; one sister, Vera Hunter of Sacramento, Calif.; and one grandchild, Gabreial Royce-Keefe of Jefferson City.

Visitation will be from 2 p.m. until service time at 3 p.m. Friday at Ponder Funeral Home in Sikeston.

Burial will follow in the Garden of Memories Cemetery at Sikeston.
