NEW MADRID, Mo. — A Sikeston woman has been arrested for stalking and harassment in New Madrid County.

Late Tuesday afternoon, New Madrid County Sheriff Terry Stevens asked for the public’s help in locating Ashley A. Ivie, 26.

Wanted on a felony warrant out of the New Madrid County Circuit Court for first degree stalking and first degree harassment, Ivie was later taken into custody and was set to appear in court Thursday morning.

According to court documents, on Aug. 15 Ivie was reported to have violated an ex parte order that was issued on July 15. The victim stated that approximately every day to every other day from July 11 when she was awarded full order of protection until Aug. 15, she was contacted by Ivie’s cell phone.

The victim provided multiple screen shots from Ivie’s number that she believed as physical assault threats and homicidal threats, including one that read: “Cant wait to get my gun to ur head.”

Ivie is being held on $5,000 cash or surety bond with the special condition she have no contact with the victim.
