MOREHOUSE, Mo. — A benefit gospel singing featuring The Davidson’s will be held at 6 p.m. Sept. 7 at Morehouse Assembly of God, 106 N. Scott St.

SIKESTON — A Worship Choir Luau and Enrollment Party will be held at 5:30 p.m. Sept. 7 at the First Baptist Church of Sikeston’s Family Life Center.

SIKESTON — Revival services at New Beginnings Fellowship, 720 David Lane in Sikeston, will be held 11 a.m. and 5 p.m. Sept. 8 and at 7 p.m. Sept. 9-11. Brother Steve Eaves will be the guest speaker.

MINER, Mo. — The Miner Baptist Church will present Celebrate Recovery every Tuesday night beginning Sept. 10. It is a Christ centered, 12-step recovery program for anyone struggling with hurts, habits or hang-ups of any kind. Celebrate Recovery is a safe place to find community and freedom from the issues that are controlling our life. CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo. — The Messiah Choir will begin rehearsals Sept. 23 at Trinity Lutheran Church, 100 N. Frederick St., in Cape Girardeau, Mo. There will be refreshments following the first rehearsal and a choir appreciation dinner in December. No experience is necessary and there are no auditions. The group will be singing choruses from all three parts of the “Messiah.” Rehearsals are the second and fourth Monday of the month from 7-8:30 p.m. Singers of all ages are welcome and the concerts will be Jan. 12 and 19, 2020.

SIKESTON — LIFE CHAIN 2019 will be held from 2:30-3:30 p.m. Oct. 6 at the intersection of Main and Malone. This national event is a public witness of pro life individuals praying for our nation and an end to abortion. Churches from Sikeston and the surrounding area will stand silently and prayerfully holding signs that support life and oppose abortion. DEXTER, Mo. — For those who are struggling with addiction or struggling with life, there will be a group that meets Sunday nights at 6 p.m. at Risen Church, 15 E. St. Francis in Dexter. The group aims to restore hope, change lives and reclaim relationships through God’s love and Biblical truth. Free child care will be provided. MORLEY – The Church at Morley, 112 N. Kirkwood, will host a free dinner the first Saturday of each month. Residents of the city are invited to bring their families and eat, starting at 6 p.m.
