PORTAGEVILLE, Mo. — Comedora Nelson Clark, 95, died Oct. 3, 2019, at his home in Portageville.

Born Sept. 19, 1924, Bokerton, son of the late Bertie Territt Clark and Chapter Clark, he was a 60-year Mason and retired from the Carpenters Union in Illinois. He had owned several businesses in Portageville and Illinois.  

On May 31, 1946, in Portageville, he married Imogene Rogers, and she survives.

In addition to his wife, survivors include: four sons, Comedora “Dan” Clark of House Springs, Gale Clark and Joe Clark of Illinois and Roger Clark of Florida; one daughter, Brenda Wehmeyer of Florida; one brother, Herman Clark of Sikeston; one sister, Vera Lee Thatcher of Illinois; and 25 grandchildren, 51 great-grandchildren and 12 great-great-grandchildren.

He was also preceded in death by one brother, Raymond Clark; and two sisters, Gladys Young and Carmel Ludwig.

Visitation was from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. Oct. 10 at DeLisle Funeral Home in Portageville, where services were at 11 a.m. Oct. 11.

Burial followed in the Portageville Cemetery.
