SIKESTON — Evelyn Bernice Limbaugh, 86, died Friday, Jan 31, 2020, at Missouri Delta Medical Center.
Born Feb. 2, 1933, in Sikeston, to the late Amos Alfred and Bessie Bernice (Curtner) Johnson, she was a 1951 graduate of Blodgett High School and member of Old Bethel Baptist Church. She was bookkeeper for P. J.'s Supply and Braswell Water Softners.
On March 22, 1952, she married Danny E. Limbaugh, who survives of the home.
Additional survivors include: one son, Danny Michael “Mike” Limbaugh of Sikeston; four brothers, Amos Johnson, Donnie Johnson, Ronnie Johnson and Terry Johnson of Sikeston; four sisters, Geneva Greenlee, Lois Kirk, Joyce Holmes and Linda McClain of Sikeston; one brother, Lloyd Johnson; one granddaughter, Tracy Rice; and two great-grandchildren, Jude Rice and Emma Rice.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until service time at 1 p.m. Monday, Feb. 3 at Blanchard Funeral Chapel with her pastor, the Rev. Steve Vester of Old Bethel Baptist Church, and her brother, the Rev. Amos Johnson, officiating.
Burial will follow at 3 p.m. in the Missouri State Veterans Cemetery at Bloomfield.
Pallbearers will be: David Matthews, Scotty Jones, Chalk McClain, Keith Kirk, Kevin Roslen and Richie Johnson. Honorary pallbearer will be Cora Taylor.
