Mamma Mia! is here. Produced at Sikeston Little Theatre through Special Licensing from Music Theatre International, the musical Mamma Mia! features many of ABBA’s hit songs such as “I Have a Dream”, “Honey, Honey”, “Mamma Mia”, and “Dancing Queen”.
There are 10 performances of “Mamma Mia!”: Thursday Feb 20 at 7:00, Friday Feb 21 at 7:00, Saturday Feb 22 at 2:00 and 7:00, Sunday Feb 23 at 2:00, Thursday Feb 27 at 7:00, Friday Feb 28 at 7:00, Saturday Feb 29 at 2:00 and 7:00, and Sunday Mar 1 at 2:00. All performances are in the Sikeston Little Theatre, 506 S Kingshighway.
Our season started in August with “Emma” followed by “The Giver” in October. After “Mamma Mia!” will be “Frozen Jr” in early May and “Brighton Beach Memoirs” by Neil Simon in late June. “Frozen Jr” is our children’s production and is not part of the Season Ticket package. Individual tickets for anyone who wishes to attend are $12 at the door for all shows.
Tickets for “Mamma Mia!” will go on sale at the box office and online on Sunday Feb 2 to members and Sunday Feb 9 to everyone. While Mamma Mia! is the third production of the season, it’s not too late to purchase Season Passes. An adult Season Pass for 2019-2020 is $25 and a youth (grades K-12) Season Pass is $12. Anyone purchasing a Season Pass becomes a member of SLT. A Season Pass entitles the holder first choice of seat locations, and current members/season pass holders receive a letter before each production that has information about the upcoming show and when tickets go on sale. Each season pass is good for one ticket for each of the season’s four productions. Tickets and passes are available at the box office and online.
