MOREHOUSE, Mo. — Barb Flanigan, 65, died Jan. 30, 2020, at Southeast Hospital in Cape Girardeau.

Born Dec. 21, 1954, in Matthews, daughter of late L. V. and Lois Flatt Hopper, she lived in the Morehouse and Matthews area most of her life and had worked as a cook at Keller Truck Stop. She also attended The First Christian in Matthews.

On Nov. 27, 1993, in Morehouse, she married Roger Dale Flanigan Sr, who survives of the home in Morehouse.

Other survivors include: two sons, Roger Dale Flanigan Jr. of Morehouse and Justin Hermes of St. Paul, Kansas; three daughters, Tammy Jean Allen of Sikeston, Maria McDaniel of Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, Jenny McKean of Oklahoma; one brother, Randy Hopper of New Madrid; two sisters, Doris Heavner of Bertrand and Joyce Sissom of Henderson, Tennessee; and 18 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two sons, Jeff Brittian and Omer Hermes; three brothers, Andy, James, William Hopper; and two grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until service time at 1 p.m. Tuesday at the Watkins and Sons Funeral Home with the Rev. Steve Tippen of Dexter officiating.
