SIKESTON — Huntley Kate Cooksey, infant daughter of Hunter and Katy Renae Gantner Cooksey, entered and left this world at 7:51 p.m. March 2, 2020, weighing 5 pounds and 1 ounce and 18-1/2 inches long. She is an angel from her beautiful, dark, curly hair, button-nose and perfectly long skis we saw as we looked upon her feet.

SIKESTON — Huntley Kate Cooksey, infant daughter of Hunter and Katy Renae Gantner Cooksey, entered and left this world at 7:51 p.m. March 2, 2020, weighing 5 pounds and 1 ounce and 18-1/2 inches long. She is an angel from her beautiful, dark, curly hair, button-nose and perfectly long skis we saw as we looked upon her feet.

Along with her parents, she is survived by her grandparents, Thomas (TJ) and Tina Gantner, Rob and Susan Cooksey; one uncle, Andy (Allison) Gantner; three aunts, Natalie (Joe) Werts, Ashley Gantner and Emma(Kaleb) Cooksey; great-grandparents, Edith Grainger, James Carley Sr.(Brenda) Cooksey and Sue (Beetle) Bailey; three cousins, Jackson and Presly Werts and Lily Grace Robbins.

She was preceded in death by her great-grandparents, Thomas and Mary Jean Gantner, Albert Grainger and Ray Sisco.

Pallbearers will be: Andy Gantner and Kaleb Curry with Aaron Grainger as honorary.

Visitation will be held Friday, March 6 from noon until time of funeral services at 2 p.m. at Ponder Funeral Home in Sikeston. The Rev. Lucas Polk pastor of Grace Bible Fellowship, will officiate.

Interment will follow in Matthews Cemetery at Matthews.
