Elizabeth Barnett

SIKESTON — Elizabeth Barnett, 37, died March 7, 2020, at Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis.

Born Dec. 2, 1982, in Dexter, Mo., daughter of Curtis and Angela Brown Barnett of the home in Sikeston, she graduated from Sikeston High School in 2001 and attended Murray State University from 2001 to 2004. She was an avid Kentucky Wildcats basketball fan.

In addition to her parents, survivors include: two brothers, Chris (Holly) Newell of Cape Girardeau, Mo., and B.J. (Hope) Barnett of Sikeston; and one sister, Amber (Gary) Eaton of Bernie, Mo.

Visitation will be from 4 p.m. until service time at 6 p.m. Wednesday at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel in Sikeston with Gary Brown, pastor of Faith Assembly Fellowship Church in West Frankfort, Ill., officiating.
