Portageville schools to distribute meals to children

Beginning today, OPAA! Is teaming up with the Portageville School District and will distribute meals to all children ages 18-and-under for free. There will be two pick-up locations available at the following buildings:

Portageville High School Cafeteria

Breakfast will be served from 8-9 a.m.

Lunch will be served from 11 a.m. to noon

Portageville Elementary School (Back parking lot)

Breakfast will be served from 8-9 p.m.

Lunch will be served from 11 a.m. to noon

Bus deliver sites (breakfast 8-9 a.m.; lunch 11 a.m. to noon)

Portage Village (Pavillion)—breakfast 8 a.m./lunch 11 a.m.

Strip Mall Parking Lot (across from Subway)—breakfast 8:15 a.m./lunch 11:15 a.m.

Point Pleasant—breakfast 8:45 a.m./lunch 11:45 a.m.

5-0 Subdivision— breakfast 8:45 a.m./lunch 11:45 a.m.

Scrub Bridge— breakfast 8:45 a.m./lunch 11:45 a.m.

Rainbow City— breakfast 8:45 a.m./lunch 11:45 a.m.

Red Building at the Park— breakfast 8:30 a.m./lunch 11:30 a.m

All meals will be served Monday through Friday (excluding spring break) while school is closed due to the COVID-19 virus.
