SCTC welding contest winners

Two Sikeston Career and Technology Center (SCTC) Welding Technology students recently competed in the first-ever American Welding Academy- Vocational Welding Contest in Union, Missouri. The competition was extremely challenging and awards went to the top 10 students, according to Brent Trankler, welding instructor for SCTC. Both SCTC students placed in the top 10 and were awarded with a trophy and a $1,000-dollar scholarship each.
