Sheila Parmenter

SIKESTON — Sheila Parmenter, age 72, passed away on May 31, 2020, at her home in Sikeston.

She was born Nov. 22, 1947, in New Madrid, Mo., to the late Harvey and Mildred Simpson Cobb.

On Dec. 18, 1966, in Sikeston, she married Sam Parmenter who survives of the home.

She worked at Shelby Elliott Truck Sales in Sikeston as an office manager until she retired in 2019.

Survivors include: one daughter and son-in-law, Jennifer and Greg Gooch of Sikeston; two brothers and one sister-in-law, Ronnie and Sandra Cobb of Reynoldsburg, Ohio, and David Cobb of Portageville, Mo.; one sister, Shelly Page of Denver, Colo.; and two grandchildren, Coleman Johnson and Ty Gooch both of Sikeston.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 4, 2020, at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel in Sikeston from 11 a.m. until time of funeral service at 1 p.m. with the Rev. Jennifer Moxley officiating.

Burial will follow at Garden of Memories Cemetery in Sikeston.
