SIKESTON - Henrietta Mabry-Reed, 84, died at her home in Sikeston on July 14, 2020. Born on Jan. 13, 1936, in Slayden, Mississippi, to Johnnie L. Isom and Hattie Moore-Conley, and was raised by her stepfather, Walter Conley. In addition to her parents, Henrietta was preceded in death by her husband, Cherry Mabry-Reed Sr.; one sister, Pearlie B. Conley; and three stepchildren, Rose Mabry-Reed, Don Mabry-Reed, and Louis Mabry-Reed...

SIKESTON, MO - Henrietta Mabry-Reed, age 84, died at her home in Sikeston, Missouri on Tuesday, July 14, 2020.

Henrietta was born on January 13, 1936 in Slayden, Mississippi to Johnnie L. Isom and Hattie Moore-Conley, and was raised by her stepfather, Walter Conley.

In addition to her parents, Henrietta was preceded in death by her husband, Cherry Mabry-Reed Sr.; one sister, Pearlie B. Conley; and three stepchildren, Rose Mabry-Reed, Don Mabry-Reed, and Louis Mabry-Reed.

Henrietta is survived by five sisters, Hattie Mae Walls, Emma Patterson, Mattie Sue Liddell, and Fannie Mae Conley of Memphis, Tennessee, and Dorothy Charles of Lafayette, Louisiana; one brother, Johnnie L. Isom Jr. of Slayden, Mississippi; five sons, Cherry Mabry-Reed Jr. of Nashville, Tennessee, James Lee Cox and Lonnie (Mary) Conley of Sikeston, Missouri, Henry Lee Conley of St. Louis, Missouri, and Ronnie Conley of Cape Girardeau, Missouri; five daughters, Bobbie Jean Conley, Mary Ann Isom, Linda Fay (Candido) Pablo, and Connie Faye Conley of Sikeston, Missouri, and Sheila Ann Queen of Kennett, Missouri; one Godson, Anthony (Mandy) Foster of Spring Valley, Illinois; 28 grandchildren, including Steven Conley of Poplar Bluff, Missouri, Stephanie (Andre) Lane of Sikeston, Missouri, and Jackie Conley of Nashville, Tennessee-whom she raised; and a host of great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, Visitation will be held Saturday, July 25, 2020 at Ponder Funeral Home in Sikeston, Missouri from 12 noon to 1:00 p.m. with the funeral services to start shortly thereafter. Minister Kenneth King will be officiating.
