NEW MADRID, Mo. — Annie Louise Silmon, 84, died Sept. 8, 2020, at her home in New Madrid.

Born Oct. 31, 1935, in Como, Mississippi, daughter of the late Pearlee McDaniels and Joseph Holts, she was a member of the Full Gospel Church in East Prairie.

Her husband, Wesley Silmon, survives of the home.

In addition to her husband, survivors include: her stepmother, Lula Holts of Eau Claire, Michigan; four daughters two sons-in-law, Catherine Buchanan of New Madrid and Helen Wilson, Mary and Gregory Walker and Diana and Lee Davis of Jacksonville, Florida; one son and daughter-in-law, David and Yvonne Kelly of Cassopolis, Michigan; four stepchildren; three sisters, Grace Holts and Courtney Holts of Detroit, Michigan and Dian Holts of Niles, Michigan; one brother, Joseph Holts of Niles; and 26 grandchildren.

She was also preceded in death by two sons, Willie Joe Kelly and Earnest Kelly; one daughter, Dianne Kelly; and five grandchildren.

Visitation is from 11 a.m. until service time at 1 p.m. Saturday at Richards Funeral Home in New Madrid.

Burial will follow in the Evergreen Cemetery at New Madrid.
