Alton Williams

DAYTON, Tenn. – Alton Clark Williams, age 74, formerly of East Prairie, Missouri, passed away Oct. 14, 2020, in Dayton, Tennessee.

He was born Sept. 3, 1946, in East Prairie, son of the late Gough and Birdie Zook Williams. He was of the Baptist faith.

He was married to Joy Williams; she survives of the home in Dayton.

He is also survived by one son, Jimmy Williams of Dayton; two daughters, Tera Neely of Carmichael, California, and Nicole Wallis of Dayton; one sister, Judy (Travis) Garrett of Sikeston, Missouri; eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by seven brothers, Willie Williams, Lloyd Williams, Johnny Williams, Finley Williams, Paul Williams, and Lindy Williams; and one sister, Betty McGill.

Graveside services will be held Saturday, Oct. 31 at 11 a.m. at Dogwood Cemetery at Dogwood, Missouri.
