Cinnatha Hyde

SIKESTON — Cinnatha Hyde, age 65, passed away Jan. 11, 2021, at Southeast Hospital in Cape Girardeau, Missouri.

She was born May 30, 1955, in Sikeston, daughter of the late Morris and Marcia Luke Proffer. She was of the Baptist faith and had worked for Pyramid Home Health before retiring.

She is survived by her husband, Jimmy Hyde of Sikeston; one daughter, Shawn (Christopher) Kidd of Sikeston; one sister, Rosie Robinson of Mosqui, Texas; and one grandchild, Alexus Sturgeon of Sikeston.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, Morris Proffer Jr.; and one sister, Sylvia Frye.

Visitation will be held Friday, Jan. 15 from 11 a.m. until time of funeral services at 1 p.m. at Ponder Funeral Home in Sikeston. Max Schrieber will officiate.

Burial will follow in the Garden of Memories Cemetery in Sikeston.
