Yearbook award winners

In the recent 2020 Quill & Scroll Yearbook Excellence Contest, Richland students were awarded 12 total awards, including four Sweepstakes Awards, and The Blue and Gold Comprehensive Award for Visuals Excellence. Dacie Ritch (left), Assistant Editor for The Rebel, RichlandÕs student yearbook, led the way with three Sweepstakes Awards in Sports Action Photography, Feature Photography, and Clubs/Organizations Photography and a total of seven awards. Editor-in-Chief Devin Duffie (center) shows off the Blue and Gold Award, the yearbook staffÕs fifth in a row, which is presented annually to the yearbook staff that is selected to have the best overall quality of photographs in their yearbook. Cassie Bess, Page Editor, also shows off her plaque for the Sweepstakes for Photo Illustration in the contest along with some of the many keys the journalists were presented for winning. As winners, Ritch, Duffie, and Bess are all eligible for one of the many collegiate scholarships awarded by Quill & Scroll every year.
