Lavonne Cantrell

ST. LOUIS, Mo. — June “Lavonne” Cantrell (nee Presley), age 89, of St. Louis passed away on April 29, 2021. She was born in Portageville on June 21, 1931, to George and Bodie O. Presley.

She was married to W.M. Cantrell for 34 years. She was the most loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who will be terribly missed by all that love her.

Lavonne is survived by her daughters, Janet Saale, Cindy (Jim) Brosius, and Kim Lancia; grandchildren, Dan (Larissa) Saale, Michelle (Ryan) Winslow, Olivia (Brandon) Creath and Amanda Brosius; great-grandchildren, Eli, Rowan, and Jocelyn Saale; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, W. M. Cantrell; parents, George and Bodie Presley; two sons-in-law, Lou Saale and Frank Lancia.

Lavonne was laid to rest at Sikeston Memorial Park Cemetery.
