Why honor Limbaugh?

I just can’t believe that our elected lawmakers of Missouri have just approved a Rush Limbaugh Day. Rush Limbaugh was a proven drug addict. He was dropped by all major television networks for lying. Our state lawmakers had a bust statue installed at the state capital and now they approve a yearly recognition day for him? I give up in the name of stupid.

No problem with tax increase

As soon as I reached voting age, I voted Republican for Richard Nixon. I faithfully helped elect 32 years of Republican presidencies. I don’t have a problem with raising the income tax level on big corporations from 21 percent to 25 percent. It’s only a 4% raise. That is nothing to them, but it’s a lot of money to use and we could sure use it. Anything with infrastructure means a lot of jobs.
