Ronald Thompson
SIKESTON — Ronald Thompson, age 74, passed away on July 14, 2021, at his home in Sikeston.
Born July 23, 1946, in Elkton, Maryland, son of the late Warren and Rachel Walstrum Thompson, he served in the United States Navy. He was a member of First Missionary Baptist Church in Matthews, Missouri.
On Oct. 30, 1971, in Elkton, he married Diane Thompson who survives of the home in Sikeston, MO.
In addition to his wife he is survived by one son, Matt Thompson of Sikeston; one sister, Debbie Cambell of Elkton; six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one son, Scott Thompson; and one sister, Ilene Rothwell.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
