EAST PRAIRIE, Mo. - Harold Carlyle, 84, passed away July 23, 2021, at Southeast Hospital in Cape Girardeau. He was born July 14, 1937, in Decatur, Tennessee, son of the late Frank and Sally Western Carlyle. He had worked for Bungee before retiring. EAST PRAIRIE, Mo. - Harold Carlyle, 84, passed away July 23, 2021, at Southeast Hospital in Cape Girardeau.

He was born July 14, 1937, in Decatur, Tennessee, son of the late Frank and Sally Western Carlyle. He had worked for Bungee before retiring.

He was married to Wanda Jean Coffer Carlyle, who survives of the home in East Prairie.

Other survivors include two sons, Steve (Tami) Carlyle of Sikeston and Rodney (Carla) Carlyle of Scott City; one daughter, Beverly (Eric) Cole of North Little Rock, Arkansas; one brother, Max (Norma) Carlyle of Charleston; five sisters, Linda (Don) Rushing of Wickliffe, Kentucky, Glenda (Dale) Morgan of Greensfield, Tennessee, Sue Boyer of Paragould, Arkansas, Bernice Wray of Kevil, Kentucky, and Pat (David) Faire of Sikeston; 11 grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by six brothers, Raymond Carlyle, Ed Carlyle, Gilbert Carlyle, Sam Carlyle, Don Carlyle, and one infant brother; and two sisters, Eula Matheny and Janie Bush.

Visitation will be held Thursday, July 29, from 11 a.m. until time of funeral services at 1 p.m. at Shelby Funeral Home in East Prairie. Bro. David Dowdy will officiate.

Burial will follow in the East Prairie Memorial Park Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be: Jamie Powers, Richard Hennrick, Theresa Wright, William Johnson, Joel Haddock, Danny Bell, and Eric Cole.
