BERTRAND, Mo. — Emma Sue Stewart, age 87, of Bertrand passed away on Wednesday, Oct. 6, 2021, at SaintFrancis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau, Missouri.

Emma Sue was born in Ballard County, Kentucky, on March 19, 1934, to the late Howard and Susie Douglas Jones. She was a member of Murray Lane Baptist Church in Sikeston, Missouri. Emma was a homemaker and in her spare time she loved to watch FOX News on television.

Emma is survived by two sisters, Mary (Clyde) Johnson and Martha Nell Jones both of Bertrand; several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Stewart; and two brothers, M.M. Jones and Wayne D. Jones.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 11, 2021, at Milner and Orr Funeral Home of Wickliffe with Rev. Joe McCullough officiating. Burial will follow at Barlow Cemetery in Barlow, Kentucky.

Visitation will be held from 11a.m. until 1 p.m. on Monday, October 11, 2021, at the funeral home.
