VANDUSER, Mo. — Shirley Sue Casey, age 78, of Vanduser passed away Wednesday, Oct. 27, 2021, at the Westfield Nursing Center in Sikeston, Missouri.
She was born Oct. 18, 1943, in Red Bay, Alabama, to the late Roy and Myrtle (Burks) Jackson. She was of the Baptist faith and had worked for Columbia Sportswear before retiring. On Nov. 13, 1961, in Grant City, Missouri, she married Roger Casey who survives of the home in Vanduser.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by three sons, Larry (Sheryl) Casey of Sikeston, Kenny Casey of Spring, Texas, and Roger (Gennell) Casey of Morley, Missouri; two daughters, Peggy (David) Propst of Cape Girardeau, Missouri, and Melissa (Ron) Blair of Sault Saint Marie, Michigan; seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a brother, William “Bill” Jackson, and two infant brothers.
Visitation will be held Monday, Nov. 1, 2021, from 11 a.m. until the time of the service at 1 p.m. at the Ponder Funeral Home in Sikeston.
Interment will follow immediately at the New Morley Cemetery in Morley.
