Persons of interest sought in home burglary

BENTON, Mo. — The Scott County Sheriff’s Office is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying persons of interests possibly involved in a home burglary.

According to Scott County Sheriff Wes Drury, the sheriff’s office was contacted in reference to a home burglary that occurred around 3:30 p.m. Thursday in Diehlstadt. Several items were taken from the home, and there are video stills of two unidentified persons of interest who may be involved the burglary. The individuals should not be approached if located, the sheriff said.
