Letter: TCA Day is Jan. 30

Wednesday, January 26, 2022

If you believe in miracles — as we do — then you must know The Christian Academy in Sikeston is a true God-given miracle.

Less than a year ago, the Christian school was facing financial hardships brought on by COVID and was forced to close their doors after 17 years of providing a Christian-based education for students in the Sikeston area.

But a group of parents asked God for His help and through the miracle of grace and favor, raised the funds to keep the doors open and the message of God flowing in our community. TCA is proud to boast that students from 22 churches are represented in our student body. This diversity is one of our strengths.

Our goal has always been to provide a lower tuition to allow students from all walks of life to attend. But that policy presents financial challenges and that is why we have reached out to you today.

We are asking Sikeston churches to designate Sunday, Jan 30, 2022, as TCA Day within your congregation and consider a critical Love Offering to allow us to continue our mission of spreading the good news of Jesus Christ to the next generation.

No amount of assistance is too small to do the work of God. And as always, we need your prayers for our ministry.

God bless you one and all. Thank you for your consideration.

Michael Jensen,

The Christian Academy principal

P.S:. If your church is unable to consider a monthly or annual pledge, please keep TCA in your prayers.
