John-Luke Linley

SIKESTON — John-Luke Michael Linley, age 1 month and 23 days, passed away Wednesday, Feb. 2, 2022, at the Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston.

He was born Dec. 10, 2021, in Cape Girardeau, Missouri, to Cody Linley and Virginia Lilly (Toombs) Linley of Sikeston.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by one brother, Connor Bailey; one sister, McKynlee Bailey; his paternal grandparents, Michael and Deanna Linley of Sikeston; maternal grandmother, Christy Bailey of Sikeston; four uncles, Blake (Kathryn) Hurt of Sikeston, Bryce (April) Hurt, Brandon (Cora) Hurt and Corey Linley all from Sikeston. He is also survived by three aunts, Brittany (Andy) Mills, Breanna Hurt and Josie (Caleb) Linley all from Sikeston.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, John Toombs.

Visitation will be held Thursday, Feb. 10, 2022, from noon until the time of the funeral service at 2 p.m. at the Ponder Funeral Home in Sikeston.

Pallbearers will be Blake Hurt and Brandon Hurt.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Bryce Hurt, Corey Linley and Caleb Turner.

Interment will follow immediately at the Matthews Cemetery in Matthews, Missouri.
