Carolyn Harrison

SIKESTON — Carolyn Sue Harrison was born April 9, 1956, in Dexter, Missouri, to Betty Long and Gene Long. She passed away on Jan. 31, 2022, at Missouri Delta Medical Center Sikeston, Missouri, at the age of 65 years, 9 months and 22 days.

She was united in marriage to Eddie Harrison in 1974; they had three children. She worked at Diamond B in California until retirement.

Preceding her in death was her father, Gene Long; her husband, Eddie Harrison; one daughter, Becky Shands; one son, Bobbie Harrison; and one brother, Bobby Joe Long.

She leaves to cherish her memories: her mother, Betty Long; her daughter, Samantha Harrison; brothers, Jack Long, Benny, Jimbo and Jeff Long; and one sister, Lucy Britt. She had six grandchildren: Bethany Cobb, Brittany Jackson, Jacob Shands, Timmy Shands, Frankie Houchins, Cassidy Shands and William Harrison; and 11 great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be at later date due to COVID and weather.
