BELOIT, Wis. — Dorothy “Jeanette” Krause, 58, of Beloit, passed away on Friday, March 4, 2022, at Beloit Memorial Hospital after complications due to COVID-19.

She was born on March 2, 1964, in Hayti, Missouri, the daughter of Wayne and Nora (Chidester) Sipes. Jeanette was a 1982 Portageville, Missouri, High School graduate.

Jeanette was formerly employed by BMO Harris Bank in Beloit. She was very creative, smart, kind and thoughtful. Jeanette had a wonderful sense of humor. She enjoyed being out in the nature, vacationing and going four-wheeling. She also enjoyed crafting and growing her flowers.

Survivors include: her son, Ryland of Beloit; boyfriend, James “Jimmy” McKinney of Beloit; mother, Nora (Walter “Lee”) Stockton of Portageville; siblings, Janet (Rev. Danny) Rodgers of Batesville, Arkansas, Tonya Mays, Teresa Dennison (Robert Loughary), Tammy (Randy) Hughes and Nathen (Britney) Sipes all of Portageville; stepbrothers and their spouses, Mark (Senora) Stockton from Mill Spring, Missouri, and Nick (Bonnie) Stockton from Portageville; nieces and nephews, Lance (Emily) Sipes, Lauren (Justin) Sells, Deanna Rodgers, Emily (Cody) Myers, Barry (Stefanie) Dennison, Ashley (J.T. Brandenburg) Dennison, Brent (Cristi) Dennison, Brandon (Amanda) Dennison, Saelem Sipes, Tre Sipes, Canaan Sipes, Cassidy Hughes and Gabe Hughes, Ciera (Will) Dogherty; several great-nieces and -nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles; and many friends, including her BMO family.

Jeanette was predeceased by her father, Wayne Sipes; and brother, Tyrone Sipes.

A visitation of remembrance for Jeanette will be held from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, March 8, 2022, in the Daley Murphy Wisch and Associates Funeral Home and Crematorium, 2355 Cranston Road, Beloit.

A visitation of remembrance will be held from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Wednesday, March 9, 2022, in the Apostolic Truth Tabernacle, I-55 and East St. Highway 16, Portageville. Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, March 10, 2022, in the church with Rev. Danny Rodgers officiating and Rev. A.R. Gentry co-officiating. There will also be a visitation of remembrance from 10 a.m. until the time of service Thursday in the church.

Burial will be in Portageville Cemetery.
