Youth in Government Day

The City of Sikeston held their annual Youth in Government Day Feb. 25, hosting 30 Sikeston High School students. This event included touring City Hall, Department of Public Safety and the Power Plant. The purpose of Youth in Government Day is to give students the opportunity to see how our municipal government operates and also the chance to conduct a mock Council meeting.
