Michael Reno
EAST PRAIRIE, Mo. — Michael “Mike” Reno, age 64, passed away Tuesday, March 8, 2022, at his home in East Prairie.
He was born April 29, 1957, in Hayti, Missouri, to the late Rudy Conn Reno and Rebecca Boyd. Mike was a graduate of East Prairie High School Class of 1975. He was employed as an overhead crane operator at Noranda Aluminum for many years, until the time of its closing. He was the owner of Reno’s Gas-A-Mat in East Prairie.
On Feb. 10, 1979, he married LuAnn Malone Reno, who survives of the home. They had just celebrated their 43rd wedding anniversary.
Mike is also survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Kellie and Ricky Mirly of Jackson; four brothers, Jimmy (LaDonna) Reno of Anniston, Bart Hileman of Anna-Jonesboro, Illinois, Duke (Jennifer) Presson of East Prairie and Buddy (Diane) Reno of Bloomsdale, Missouri; and his stepfather, Duke Presson Sr. of East Prairie.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister, Teresa Reno.
Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Thursday, March 10, 2022, at Shelby Funeral Home in East Prairie.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, March 11, 2022, at Shelby Funeral Home, with interment to follow in East Prairie Memorial Park Cemetery.
