Imogene DeRouse
PORTAGEVILLE, Mo. — Imogene Cummings DeRousse, 95, died Friday, March 25, 2022, at Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau, Missouri.
Born Dec. 6, 1926, in Portageville, she was the daughter of the late Anna Lea Humphrey Cummings and James Jay Cummings.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her was two sisters, Clemeteen Hampton and Willene Dial; and one brother; Billy Paul Cummings.
She was united in marriage to the late Lloyd DeRousse in Caruthersville, Missouri, on Aug. 24, 1945. He preceded her in death in April of 2020 after 75 years of marriage.
Survivors include: son, Larry (Melissa) DeRousse of Memphis, Tennessee; daughter, Linda DeRousse of Portageville, formerly of Memphis; brother, Jim Cummings of Portageville; sister, Helen Ruddle of Columbus, Ohio; one granddaughter, Kristen (Richard) Hehn of Collierville, Tennessee; great-grandchildren, Eisley James Hehn and Drew (Allison) Bradbury of Winston-Salem, North Carolina.
Visitation is from 1 p.m. until service time at 2 p.m. Wednesday, March 30, 2022, at DeLisle Funeral Home in Portageville.
Burial will follow in the Portageville Cemetery.
