CAMPBELL, Mo. — Harry King, 71, formerly of New Madrid, Missouri, passed away Feb. 6, 2022, at the Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center in Poplar Bluff, Missouri. He was born April 4, 1950, in Cape Girardeau, Missouri, to the late Robert Delisle and Thelma Parks King. He was married to Sandy Wren King, who survives of the home. Harry was a steel worker that retired from Noranda Aluminum and was the owner of the Kings Foxtrotters...

CAMPBELL, Mo. — Harry King, 71, formerly of New Madrid, Missouri, passed away Feb. 6, 2022, at the Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center in Poplar Bluff, Missouri.

He was born April 4, 1950, in Cape Girardeau, Missouri, to the late Robert Delisle and Thelma Parks King. He was married to Sandy Wren King, who survives of the home. Harry was a steel worker that retired from Noranda Aluminum and was the owner of the Kings Foxtrotters.

In addition to his wife, he is also survived by one daughter, Ashlee and Travis Stein; son, Jason Shane Rice; grandchildren, Dalton, Colton, Easton and Bryson Stein; siblings, Bob King and Sharon, Beth and Mike Mapes, Mary Linda King and Ken Grigsby, Jimmy and Vicky Jo King, Richard and Monica King and Joe King.

He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers and sisters, Kenneth King, Ann King Taylor, Michael King and Susan King Totty.

A celebration of life will be held at Knights of Columbus Hall in New Madrid on Saturday, April 23 from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. This will be more of an informal gathering for family and friends in Harry’s honor. The family held a private service on Feb. 15.

Richards Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
