SIKESTON — Adam Russell Skinner, age 22, died Friday, Sept. 16, 2022, at his home in Sikeston.
He was born May 19, 2000, at Cape Girardeau, Missouri, to Russell Dale Skinner and Traci Ann Moore Skinner. He had lived in Sikeston most of his life and was an avid skateboarder.
Surviving are his father, Russell Dale (Elizabeth Anne) Skinner; his mother, Traci Ann Moore Skinner; his sister, Emalee (Will) Fowler; two stepsisters, Rilee Moore and Reagann Moore; paternal grandmother, Judy Meeks Skinner; maternal grandparents, Rick and Nelsa Smith Perry; also, a number of aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Russ Skinner.
The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. until the funeral hour at 1 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 20, 2022, at the McMikle Funeral Home in Charleston, Missouri. Rev. Dave McLucas, pastor of the First Assembly of God Church in Charleston, will officiate.
Interment will follow in the Oak Grove Cemetery near Charleston under the direction of the McMikle Funeral Home of Charleston.
Pallbearers will be: Gage Turner, Logan Lampe, Colton Rogers, Aubrey Taylor, Tyler Evans, Kramer Crosier, Jamie Helton, Kane Hobock and Andrew Skinner.
