SIKESTON — Della May Hubbard, age 80, passed away on Sept. 28, 2022, at her home in Sikeston.
She was born on May 25, 1942, in Portageville, Missouri, to the late Irvie and Esther Barnes McMillen.
On Feb. 17, 1963, in Sikeston, she married Elbert Hubbard who survives of the home in Sikeston.
Della was a member of Shady Acres Church of Christ in Sikeston. She retired from Progressive Farm Credit in Sikeston.
She is survived by one daughter, Susan (Richard) Kimball of Bertrand, Missouri; one son, Steven (Melissa) Hubbard of Cape Girardeau, Missouri; three brothers, Arthur “Flea” (Randena) McMillen of Sikeston, Jerry (Barbara) McMillen of East Prairie, Missouri, and John (Betty) McMillen of Sikeston; three sisters, Shirley (John) Braden of Sikeston, Diana (Mike) Pearson of Sikeston and Patricia (Phil) Yedlicka of Fenton, Missouri; three grandchildren, Dustin Hubbard, Tanner Williams and Lane Williams; and one great-grandchild, Liam Hubbard.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by one brother, Ervie McMillen; and one sister-in-law, Rita Jean McMillen.
Visitation will be held on Friday, Sept. 30, 2022, from 10 a.m. until time of funeral service at noon at Shady Acres Church of Christ in Sikeston with Johnny Hester, evangelist, officiating.
Nunnelee Funeral Chapel is in charge of the arrangements.
Interment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery in Sikeston.
Pallbearers will be: Tanner Williams, Lane Williams, Dustin Hubbard, Jerry McMillen, John McMillen and Mike Pearson.
Honorary pallbearers will be: John Whitten, John Wilson, Arthur “Flea” McMillen and John Braden.
