ORAN, Mo. — Rosalia Ann Friga, daughter of the late Mike Friga and Rosa Pazdera Friga was born on Oct. 28, 1945, in Paragould, Arkansas, and departed her life on Wednesday, Sept. 28, 2022, at her residence in Oran at the age of 76 years.
She was the owner and operator of Rosalia’s House of Glamour in Oran for over 50 years. Rosalia was a proud foster parent for 30 years housing over 25 children in that time and a member of the Guardian Angel Catholic Church. She was also a member of the St. Ann Sodality, Ladies Auxiliary VFW and a Columbiette with the Knights of Columbus in Oran.
Survivors include: two sons, Russel (Misty) Friga of Oran and Patrick (Kelly) Friga of Bethany, Missouri; five grandchildren, Racheal Friga, Ryan Friga, Riley Friga, Bryce Friga and Quinn Friga; one brother, Ralph Friga of Cape Girardeau; and significant other Allison Van Brooks of Oran; also, a loving aunt to several nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by four brothers, Alfred Friga, Tony Friga, Edward Friga and Steven Friga; two sisters, Pauline Chambers and Loretta Winters.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, Oct. 2, 2022, from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Oran.
Eucharistic Celebration will be conducted on Monday, Oct. 3, 2022, at 10 a.m. at the Guardian Angel Catholic Church in Oran with Father Joseph Kelly officiating.
Interment will follow in the Guardian Angel Cemetery.
