DIEHLSTADT, Mo. — William DeWayne Kirkpatrick, age 60, of Diehlstadt was called to his eternal home in heaven, Wednesday, Nov. 30, 2022. DIEHLSTADT, Mo. — William DeWayne Kirkpatrick, age 60, of Diehlstadt was called to his eternal home in heaven, Wednesday, Nov. 30, 2022.

Born May 25, 1962, in Lutesville, Missouri, to the late George “Willie” Kirkpatrick and Dorothy Mae (Welker) Kirkpatrick, he grew up in the Marble Hill area and was a 1980 graduate of Woodland High School. After surrendering his life to serve as a preacher of the Gospel, he first pastored at Barks Chapel General Baptist Church in Whitewater, Missouri. In 2007, he accepted a call from Diehlstadt General Baptist Church, where he was currently serving as pastor. For a number of years, he was employed with Small Lumber Company in Charleston, Missouri.

On June 23, 1984, he married Tina Littlepage, and she survives of the home.

Other survivors include: his daughters, Denise Wilson of Bertrand, Missouri, and Holly (Matt) Foster of Zalma, Missouri; his grandchildren, Wade, Abbigayle, Colton, Emily and Ally Jo; his sisters, Deborah (Jimmy) Seabaugh and Linda (Allen) Baker of Marble Hill; a niece, Amanda Seabaugh of Marble Hill; and many other cousins, nieces, nephews and dear friends.

Also surviving are his Diehlstadt Church family and those with Small Lumber Company.

Visitation will be from 4 p.m. until the funeral hour at 6 p.m. Monday, Dec. 5, 2022, at the Diehlstadt General Baptist Church. Scott Cook will officiate.

Graveside services will then be conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 6, 2022, at the Hurricane Fork Cemetery near Scopus, Missouri.

McMikle Funeral Home of Charleston is in charge of arrangements.
