New Madrid Museum’s annual memory tree shone brightly again this holiday season

On behalf of all of us at the New Madrid Historical Museum we hope everyone had a very Merry Christmas. We continued to receive requests for lights right up until Christmas and wanted to make sure everyone that got a light was recognized and we thank all of you again for supporting the museum!

Pat Carlson put lights on the tree this year for Virginia and Jack Carlson, Laura C. Carlson, Ed and Laura LaValle, Bill David LaValle, Virginia and Will Riley, Carrie LaValle, Jean and Addie LaValle, Mildred Copeland, Dot Halstead, Beth Henry, Johnny Davis, Celia DeLisle, Loretta Moore, Alberta Ramsey, Libba Crisler, Lauradele Riley, Catherine Cook and Lynn Bock.

Theresa Harris lit the tree this year in remembrance of Dr. Louis J. Smith, Rita Smith, Grace Harris, Hubert Harris Sr., Kim Smith, Sister Mary Teresa Noth, Monsignor John Smith, Katie Krallman, Marie Smith, Theresa Smith, Agnes Smith, John Noth and Cordell Evans.

Larry Maxwell had lights burning bright on the tree this year for Floyce and Emma Maxwell, Bobby Maxwell, Edwin Maxwell and Paul Maxwell.

Frances Lott adorned the tree this year for A.T. Lott, Hettie C. Lott, J.C. Lott, Annie Lou Lott Williams, Bill Lott and Herschel Lott.

And Mona Bloomfield had the tree decorated with lights for Frank Innis, Jimmy Joe Bloomfield, Leona and Jimmy Bloomfield, Ollie and Bonnie Morrison, Jimmy Morrison, Buddy Morrison, Ruth Brinkley and Margaret Downey.

The Board and staff of the New Madrid Historical Museum want to send everyone holiday greetings and hope all of you have a wonderful 2023!
