SHS/SPS Foundation Students of the Month-January

Kadence Presley and Hailey Cantrell were named Sikeston High School Students of the Month for January.

Sikeston Public Schools Foundation, which sponsors the monthly program, names two seniors each month for the honor during the 2022-2023 school year.

Presley, who is the daughter of Jennifer and Tyler Presley, is active in A+ tutoring, College Now and volunteering at Spread Hope Now. In her spare time, she enjoys volunteering, spending time with her family and her dog Mae, playing volleyball with family, working, reading, painting and working out.

Cantrell is the daughter of LaTisha and Micheal Cantrell. Her extracurricular activities include Future Teachers of America, Grown Your Own Teaches, National Honor Society, College Now and softball. Her hobbies include working puzzles, journaling and planning. “I sit down every night and watch YouTube and relax,” she said. “My favorite thing to do is hang out with my friends and boyfriend.”
