Andrew Senter

FORT WAYNE, Ind. — Andrew Daniel Senter of Fort Wayne, 43, died quietly and unexpectedly in his home on May 4, 2023.

His spirit has been tender and contemplative from the moment he was born on Dec. 5, 1979, in Sikeston, Missouri. This is a shattering loss for his family which includes (almost ex) wife, Erica, surviving parents, Daniel (Terry) Senter, Kathryn (Mike) Rouggly, surviving siblings, Allison (and David) Swilley, Aaron (and Heather) Senter; nephews and niece, Merle, John, and Evelyn Swilley.

Andy’s empathy ran deep, his joy and loyalty deep. He was known by those who loved him for his big laugh, dry sense of humor, massive compassion and affinity for good music, good books and games. He affected all who crossed his path from the kids he helped and taught to neighbors who sat and laughed on his porch.

The world lost a warmth this spring; life will be a little more hushed without him and he has settled in the quiet parts of our hearts until we see him again.

A celebration of life will be held at Wunderkammer Company, 3402 Fairfield Ave., Fort Wayne between 5 p.m. and 7 p.m., and service will begin at 7 p.m. on Thursday, May 11.

Another service will take place Monday, May 15 at the Bootheel Clubhouse in Sikeston, 10 a.m. to noon open house and eulogy and prayer from noon to 1 p.m.

Arrangements by D.O. McComb and Sons Funeral Home, 1140 Lake Avenue, Fort Wayne, IN. To sign the online guestbook, go to www.mccombandsons.com.
