George Holland
DELTA, Mo. — George Walter Holland, son of the late George and Vivian (Boshell) Holland, was born on Oct. 5, 1954, in Sikeston, Missouri, and departed his life on Saturday, Oct. 14, 2023, at the age of 69 years.
He was a former machinist for Southeast Missouri Machine Shop in Cape Girardeau, Missouri; veteran of the United States Army, and a resident of Delta, Missouri.
On Aug. 30, 1982, he was united in marriage to Jamie Marie Daniels in Odessa, Texas. She survives of the home in Delta.
Besides his wife, survivors include one son, Jon (Amanda) Holland of Kansas City, Missouri; three daughters, Tyane Holland of Benton, Illinois, Angela (Chris) Wright of Kelso, Missouri, and Jessica (Josh) Friedmeyer of Festus, Missouri; 10 grandchildren, Rhilynn, Conner, Malcolm, Brooklyn, Gabriel, Justin, Sabrina, Logan, Christopher and Seven; also, by one great-grandchild, Miles; three brothers, Thomas (Debra) Holland of Sikeston; Charles (Monica) Holland of Oran, Missouri; Daniel (Leigh) Holland of Vanduser, Missouri; a sister, Cynthia (Raymond) Brown of Morley, Missouri
Visitation will be held on Monday, Oct. 23, 2023, from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. at the Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Chaffee. Graveside services will be conducted on Monday at 2 p.m. with Roger Sievert officiating at the Missouri State Veterans Cemetery in Bloomfield, Missouri, with full military honors.
