SIKESTON, Mo. – Pamela Kay Richmond nee: Hammon, age 64, passed away Oct. 18, 2023, at her home in Sikeston, Missouri.
She was born Jan. 19, 1959, in Poplar Bluff, Missouri, daughter of the late Charles Andrew and Alice Nadine (Jeffries) Hammon.
She was a member of Compassion Church. She liked going out to eat, flower gardening, and spending time with her grandchildren. Family meant everything to her.
On Aug. 5, 1977 in Sikeston, she married Steven Ray Richmond, he preceded her in death Jan. 30, 2021.
Survivors include her daughter, Hope Elena Barnett; grandchild, Brooklyn Olivia Booth; siblings, Charles Gordon (Vicky) Hammon, David Michael Hammon, Alice Faye (Scott) Baker, Sheila May Long, Dwayne Keith (Renata McNew) Hammon; and sister-in-law, Gayla Hammon.
In addition to her parents, two brothers preceded her in death, Randall Lee Hammon and Sylvester Gilbert Hammon.
There will be a memorial service held Sunday, Oct. 22, at 2 p.m. at Unity Baptist Church in Benton, Missouri. Carlos Jeffries will officiate.
