Ashton Skelton
SIKESTON — Ashton Lee Skelton, age 18, passed away Tuesday, Nov. 21, 2023, in Sikeston.
He was born Aug. 4, 2005, to Ricky Glenn Skelton, and Crissy Lee Mock in Sikeston. Ashton enjoyed drag racing, fishing, hunting and playing guitar.
He is survived by his parents, Ricky Glenn (Elizabeth) Skelton of Scott City, Missouri, and Crissy Lee (Ronald) Mock Williams of Sikeston; two brothers, Ricky Dewayne (Jordan) Skelton Jr. of Sikeston and Ryan Cordell Lohmann of Chaffee, Missouri; fours sisters, Kasey Scallion of Sikeston, Jamie (Jason) Standridge of Sikeston, Carly Skelton of Cape Girardeau, Missouri, Hailey Edmundson of Scott City; four nephews, Carson Lee Reno, Kolton Skelton, Kamdyn Lohmann and William Lohmann; one niece, Kinsley Skelton’ and three best friends that are like brothers, David Leonard Jr., Ryder Harris and Kayden Leonard.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Ricky Dewayne Skelton; Linda Diane Smith Skelton; Fred Lee Mock, and Sandra Ann Richardson.
On Saturday, Nov. 25, 2023, at the Skelton Raceway in Sikeston, they had the First Annual Ashton Skelton Memorial Race.
