Stanley Skelton
SIKESTON — Stanley Henry Skelton, age 73, passed away on Feb. 4, 2024, at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston.
He was born on July 7, 1950, in Portageville, Missouri, to the late Johnny and Imogene Fisher Skelton.
On May 26, 1990, in East Prairie, Missouri, he married Helen Rice Skelton who survives of the home in Sikeston. He was a retired truck driver.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by three daughters, Melissa Skelton of Sikeston, Lachrista Bryan of Sikeston and Cindy Norris of Warren, Arkansas; six grandchildren, Alexander Pointer, Emmaleigh Bryan, Jackson Bryan, Tiffany Hines, Nicholas Norris and Jeremy Norris; eight siblings, Martha Lee and Shirley Smith both of East Prairie, Alice Skelton of Warrenton, Missouri, Polly Gifford of Perryville, Missouri, Barbara Amick and Brenda Peterson both of Blytheville, Arkansas, Vernon Skelton of Sikeston and Thomas Caldwell of Labadie, Missouri; and great-grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and friends.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by seven siblings, Mary Skelton, Charles Skelton, Billy Skelton, Ricky Skelton, Sally Skelton, Clyde Caldwell and Ronnie Caldwell.
A celebration of life service will be held at First Assembly of God Church in Sikeston on March 2, 2024, at 10:30 a.m.
